Last Chance Cash Drive to Save Greenlaw Town Hall
The 'Southern Reporter' Articles by Andrew Keddie, dated 5 June 2008 advises:
A massive fundraising campaign has been launched after a public meeting heard last week that it would cost £1.9 Million to restore dilapidated Greenlaw Town Hall. And failure to raise that money will, almost certainly, lead to the demolition of the "A" Listed Building.
Indeed, the fundraising began at the end of the meeting, with people queuing to buy postcards and T Shirts, and to "Sponsor a Town Hall Stone".
Anyone wishing to support the restoration should contact Una Richards on Telephone 0131 656 0700 or visit the Website at www.conservationtrust.co.uk/shbt
